The small boat.

There was an interesting exercise in the ODD class today. We were supposed to draw something which reflected our personality. I think most people end up drawing what they want to be rather than what they are. This is what some of the samples were like:

Sham## : Madras Mail, Passengers get on and off at their own discretion. The train just goes about its business.
Shr##: Cockroach, because he is a survivor and can adapt easily.
Master: Shark, it just eats and swims .....whenever it feels like and knows no rules.
Nehbur: Monkey, has fun +is restless +keeps jumping around.
Groupie: As usual he had a lot to say about himself ..a pizza,a gremlin and another thing i cant recall.

Myself:
A small boat, battered,it has a sail but no rudder.
The small boat is happy being a small boat but it is surrounded by small boats which want to be big boats and big boats which want to be bigger boats.Sometimes it is at a loss to understand if there is something wrong with being happy as a small boat. When a big boat passes it by,it thinks the small boat's inability to be a big boat is the reason it 'claims' to be content.
The boat loves the sea and the only thing it cannot understand is why other boats stay on shore at the sign of choppy waters.
ok this is getting very cheesy
well if i had a choice i would be HMS Ullyses of the Alistair Mclean fame.
